To coincide with Melbourne Design Week and Garden State, LCI Melbourne (LCIM) and the Plant Society are collaborating on a design experiment to explore new intersections between plants, design, art, spatial design and craft. The collaboration presents the challenge for LCIM students, staff, alumni and the public to reimagine their world through biophilic design principles and celebrate the vital role plants play in the art of living.

The outcome from this project is a series of design propositions including models, concept drawings, installation artwork ideas and a large scale collaborative collage capturing the collective ideas developed throughout the project. The public are invited to visit the gallery during the LCI Open House event on March 26 to discover the outcomes of the collaborative work and join a range of interactive design workshops held across the campus.
