Bricolage Workshop

C.R.E.A.M Past Event

Presented by Bricolage

C.R.E.A.M is the launch of two new coffee tables displayed in the Bricolage Showroom on Johnston Street with new lighting and floral displays. Coffee table 1 is inspired by biscuits and marshmallows: offset wonky puffy base with a maple burl veneered thick biscuit top. Coffee table 2 has a nod towards mid century design: Two nesting wing tables with maple burl veneer.

C.R.E.A.M explores the ever evolving problems encountered with custom furniture manufacturing throughout the local and international timber industries. With mills closing down due to COVID-19, and demand for manufacturing increasing, Bricolage has had to explore other options for customers as what was once affordable is now not. Moving in to veneers and conscious design, Bricolage is able to provide clients with a fresh perspective of what is achievable using more sustainable resources.
