Urban Design Forum is a public-interest advocacy organisation, passionate about the future of our cities. The Forum has existed since 1986 in Australia, but has recently been taken up by a new generation of urbanists reflecting a diversity of ages, genders and cultural backgrounds.

We are an independent, values-driven organisation, free from any corporate interests that might stifle open conversation around the environment, equity and social justice as it relates to our cities. Through public programming we aim to expand the voices at the table in city making processes, improve understanding of how cities work, and empower the community to better engage in and influence decision making.
