The proposed exhibition Subject/Matter is to be presented by Sabu Studio and Tilda Jewels, and coordinated by Tilda from Tilda Jewels and Sam from Sabu Studio.It will be hosted In The Basement Space at 178 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Tilda Cole is an emerging artist and jewellery designer working at Subject Studio. Her multidisciplinary training in traditional gold and silversmithing along with sculptural techniques and metal forming taught by her father has given her a unique approach to design and craftsmanship. Her work often expresses the duality of materials combining harsh, earthly material with polished metals. She has a considered approach to design, seeking to create art in harmony with the land through recycled metals and discarded materials. Tilda graduated in 2021 from Monash University with a Bachelor of Fine Art.
