Public Art is run by artist and educator Margaret Peppard. Over many years the team at Public Art have been commissioned by cultural institutions, such as McClelland Gallery + Sculpture Park and MPavilion, to provide cultural workshops to the public. Through this we have engaged with the community and stakeholders, developing community art knowledge and skills. As an art educator as well as practitioner and consultant, our director has developed and lead community engagement programs. For Melbourne Design Week 2022 we partner with Basalt Architects, an emerging local architectural practice, to offer an exciting cross-disciplinary approach to our proposal.
