Dale Hardiman and Mark Dineen

Mark is a Colorado based artist, designer, and educator. He is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture and the 3D Foundations Coordinator in the Department of Art and Art History at Colorado State University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. —– Melbourne based designer Dale Hardiman is the co-founder of furniture and object brand Dowel Jones and collaborative project Friends & Associates. Dale’s practice simultaneously focuses on items of mass-production for Dowel Jones, and singular works under his own name that focus on more conceptual ideas. Hardiman’s theoretical enquiry into design explores the localisation of the production of objects and is manifested in his chosen materials and overall practice. Through his collaborative exhibition projects, Hardiman has worked with 100’s of Australian creative practitioners.
