Craft Victoria

Craft Victoria is a leading centre for craft and design based in the heart of Melbourne. The organisation is dedicated to supporting and presenting exceptional makers and designers working at the forefront of contemporary practice.

Craft’s mission is delivered via exhibition programming and activities spanning festivals, talks and community events. Through Craft Projects, they connect with architects, designers and artists to realise ambitious public and private commissions. The Craft Showcase is a destination for collectable objects by Australian makers, highlighting the breadth and dexterity of contemporary craft.

Founded in 1970 as a not-for-profit organisation, Craft celebrates the shared human impulse to shape the world around us through a tradition of material ingenuity.

For the inaugural Melbourne Design Fair, Craft Victoria presents works by designers and craftspeople Lisa Waup; Jessie French; Caro Pattle; Anastasia la Fey; Misseu; Belle Thierry; Danielle Thiris; Owen Rye; Vanessa Lucas; Yoko Ozawa; Jessica Murtagh; Kenny (Yong-soo) Son, Studiokyss; and Dean Toepfer
