Open Nature: Jane’s Walk – Transforming Fishermans Bend Past Event

Presented by Open House Melbourne

Explore the ‘nature’ of Fishermans Bend’s terrain, its relationship to the River and Westgate Park, and the plans ahead for a biodiverse, water sensitive precinct.

This combined bus (public transport) and walking tour will journey from the CBD to Fishermans Bend. The walking part of the tour will begin at the Bolte Bridge and enter the National Employment and Innovation Cluster (formerly the Employment Precinct) of Fishermans Bend. The walk will introduce plans for the University of Melbourne’s Engineering campus and the former General Motors Holden site.

The walk will end at Wharf Rd, Fishermans Bend bus stop for easy return to Southern Cross.
