Andy graduated from B.Int Arch in 2016 and has started his career working in a commercial practice. Over the course of two years, Andy has immensely enjoyed working within a field focused on refining his interest in materiality and digital textures. This has led to him discovering an area of interest in playful graphical work with the use of the Adobe Suite and rendering programs like Enscape. These projects have provided valuable experience and skills in both hand drawing and digital image production which have been carried out and implemented in his personal work.

Calum Hurley is an Adelaide-based furniture and object designer and curator. With a background in interior architecture and as a recent graduate of JamFactory’s esteemed Associate Training Program as part of the Furniture Studio, Hurley designs and produces objects for the home as well as a diverse range of exhibition works. Frequently utilising casting material Jesmonite, Hurley combines this malleable material with Australian and American timbers, glass and outsourced steel and upholstered components. The curatorial side of Hurley’s practice focuses on bringing community together and creating opportunities for fellow emerging artists and designers.

During her Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honors) at the University of South Australia, Caren Elliss travelled to Mexico to undertake a four-month industrial design internship at AirDesign. Returning home, she began studying Master of Sustainable Design at University of South Australia. During her first year in the Masters course Elliss was accepted into the two–year Associate Training Program at JamFactory, and put her studies on hold to take up this opportunity. Describing herself as a designer/maker, Elliss is known for producing thoughtful, original furniture and lighting. Having worked closely with a number of Australian brands including Koskela, Estilo Commercial and Woodmark, to sustain her Australian made ethos, Elliss has expanded her practice to include residential and hospitality fit outs. During the years 2016 -2018 Elliss was a Studio Educator in Product Design and a Workshop Instructor at the School of Art, Architecture and Design, University of South Australia.

Olivia Kathigitis has completed an Honours degree in sculpture at the South Australian School of Art, Architecture & Design (2014) and has continued to explore the themes of consciousness in multiple international residencies, including exhibiting at Guest Projects in London. Through multiple medias, she explores the complexities of human behaviours. In particular, Kathigitis focuses upon the eroding quality of the mind as a consequence to fear, apprehension and anxiety. Themes of biophilia also ribbon through her practice with the investment of belief and ties to land that produce portraits of (the dissipation of) consciousness and the abstract span of realities.

Sam Gold is a South Australian artist living and working on the Adelaide Plains (Kaurna Yerta). Gold turned their hand to ceramics in earnest in 2018, bringing over a decade of training in Transpersonal Art Therapy (Ikon Institute), Furniture Design (TafeSA) and studies in Contemporary Art (UniSA, ACSA) to the medium. The ‘pinch-style’ coiled sculptures and vessels, for which Gold has since become known, push the structural and conceptual capacity of clay. As objects, they materialise a kinship between Gold’s physical body, the psychological and emotional self, and the clay body, allowing Gold to explore states of futility, failure, resilience and grit, porousness yet inscrutability. Subtle shifts in form, shape and texture – from the pressure of a thumb to the angle of the wrist – produce a somatic archive. Gold is a highly awarded artist, as recipient of the Helpmann Academy Grant and Graduate Award (2019), the Helpmann Creative Investment Fund (2021), and the University of South Australia’s Australian Ceramics Council Award (2018) and Merit Award for Academic Excellence (2019). Gold has exhibited extensively throughout South Australia, and notably featured in the 2019 Australian Ceramic Triennial, Hobart, and Primavera 2021: Young Australian Artists at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. Currently a studio tenant at JamFactory, Gold is represented by Hugo Michell Gallery, Adelaide.

Seren is a queer writer, editor, podcaster, and sociologist living and working on Kaurna Country (Kaurna Yerta). Her focus is on community building, intersectional feminism, class, communication, pleasure and socialism. She has worked for Transport for London, Aesop, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Strict Face is a Filipino producer/DJ hailing from Adelaide, South Australia. While a member of Nina Las Vegas’ NLV Records label since its inception in 2015, he has also released music on Local Action and Gobstopper Records over the years. He has frequently worked internationally, having toured throughout Europe and hosted radio shows in Paris, Hong Kong and London while establishing an ongoing relationship with the underground club music scene in both his hometown and throughout Australia.

Originally founded in 2017 by independant South Australian designer Thomas Yeend, YEEND Studio has predominantly specialised in the creation of hand-blown Australian-produced glass object and lighting design. Based in Adelaide’s renowned JamFactory Glass Studio, YEEND’s work always returns to a core interest in materiality; exploring the capabilities of hand-blown glass as a material, and its application in both product and artwork. YEEND pushes the boundaries and expectations of glass as a predominantly fragile material, exploring unconventional and experimental uses of blown glass forms, such as in furniture, as seen in YEEND’s recent debut solo exhibition JUBE. YEEND has produced a range of award-winning products and one-off design pieces with a signature use of colour and minimalist forms. YEEND has also produced a number of commissions, designing and crafting bespoke design pieces for commercial and private clients such as Jardan Furniture, Shōbōshō, and The University Of South Australia.

Wilson Jedd Adams is an emerging artist and fashion designer from Adelaide, South Australia. He has completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Art (Visual Art) in 2019 at the University of South Australia, School of Art, Architecture and Design. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Fashion Design with the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Melbourne, Victoria.
