This talk invites audiences into the exhibition design of the world of Triceratops ,a near-complete fossil of a 67-million-year-old adult Triceratops horridus. At 85% complete, the specimen is the most complete and most finely preserved Triceratops ever found, including skin impressions and tendons, and the complete skull and spine. This is a rare opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the practice of the Museums Victoria design studio as they share the behind-the-scenes process of creating and designing this immersive exhibition experience and talk to the design process, set up and their role in communicating the themes around fragility, sustainability and the environment that are explored in the exhibition and through exploring their process, collaborative approach, ethical and sustainable practice, audience analysis, material selection, prototyping, project challenges and outcomes.
